View from the dining room (see previous page) showing corner cupboard, ship-lap sided peninsula, and upper cabinet, all fabricated on site using stock materials and basic tools.  Countertop and back splashes are solid-color laminate, trimmed with pine that is finished the same as the flooring. 

Restraint and craftsmanship, and not a lot of money, created this pleasing and workable kitchen.
