A blend of antique and reproduction furnishings.  The candle-only chandelier over the dining table has proven not at all impractical and creates a mood not possible with electric lighting.

This room provides comfortable dining for six; eight is a crowd.  The living room is seen beyond.

The floors in every room, including baths and kitchen, are pine boards with a gloss varnish finish.  The continuity of this flooring greatly enhances the peaceful aura of the home.
