Building Plans:

All plans are black on white copies of originals drafted by McKie Wing Roth, Jr.  All drafting has been done with a professional computer-aided design (CAD) system.

A set of building plans includes:  foundation plan; floor plans; electrical plans (superimposed on floor plans); joist plans; structural sections; one or more sections through staircase(s); masonry, chimney, and fireplace details; interior elevations showing kitchen cabinet details and fireplace details; interior trim details; and exterior elevations showing front, both sides, and rear.  Specifications are included directly on the plans.

A lumber list, included with every primary set of plans ordered, itemizes windows, exterior doors, exterior trim, siding, and roofing as well as structural lumber.

All house plans are printed on 18" x 24" paper.  Each set of plans includes a cover and is bound along the left (18") edge.

Current prices, for a first set of stock house plans, range from $250 to $450, with three pricing tiers based on square footage.  Barn plans range from $35 to $175 for the first set.  In every case, the price of additional sets of the same design, when ordered within 90 days, is modest.  Please consult the study plans folio, or request a price list, to obtain specific prices.

All plans are printed to order and are not returnable for refund with this exception:  If the plans purchased are found not to meet local code, we will exchange the plans for a different design, or revise the purchased plans as necessary, at no additional cost. 

Important note:  The study plans folio should be obtained and reviewed prior to actual purchase of any building plans.
